I'm having login problems.

If you're having difficulty logging in, first make sure that you are using the correct username and password that you set upon signup. Your username is your email address.

Both the "username" and "password" fields are case sensitive. Be sure that your CAPS LOCK is set to "off" when setting up your login data. However, if you entered your username in full or in part in caps then you must enter it this same way when attempting to login.

Also, make sure that you don't have any firewall or browser restrictions set on your computer, and that you are running the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

I forgot my password.

If you've forgotten your password, please enter your email address into the "Forgot Password" box on the Login page. You'll get an email with your "password reminder" phrase and step-by-step instructions.

How do I change my username or password?

Once you Login, you'll see a link at the top right that says "My Account". Click this link, and then click the button that says "Make Changes", which will allow you to update your account details.

I purchased a Reverse Email Report only. How do I upgrade to membership?

To upgrade to Premium Membership, follow the "Upgrade" link in your account admin area. This link is also provided to you in your purchase receipt.

How do I cancel my membership to prevent future charges?

Premium Membership at ReverseEmailDetective.com lasts one year and is a one-time fee only. There is no need to "cancel" your membership since you'll never be charged again.

The information on the Reverse Email Report doesn't seem to be accurate.

If I send you the name of someone, can you give me their email address?

As part of membership, we provide search tools and databases that help you conduct "forward" email searches and lookups. These searches are subject to our End User Agreement.

Can I get access to someone else's actual email messages?

Absolutely not. ReverseEmailDetective.com provides directory assistance for safety and informational purposes only. We do not enable, condone, or assist unauthorized attempts to access an email inbox.

Can I find information about email addresses outside the United States?

ReverseEmailDetective.com shows details about domains, Internet service providers, IP addresses and locations for valid email addresses worldwide. People search information - including names, addresses, and household members - is restricted to U.S. adults only.

What are the permissible uses for running reverse email lookups?

As defined in our End User Agreement, you must agree to use our information only for appropriate, legal purposes, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Our databases and information may not be used to bother, stalk, harass, threaten or embarrass any individual. You may not use the service to look up celebrities or other public persons, or to locate individuals under the age of 18. You may not use any information obtained from our service for sending unsolicited email, telemarketing, or direct mail purposes.
